Final drive leak?

My oil in my final drive on my /5 seems to be leaking or something...i rebuilt the final drive and filled the rear end to the threads as per instructions. I've been checking it and it remained same level. Now at about 400 miles, it's low. Where's it going?

How low? It might be helpful to quantify the loss in terms of cc's. This would necessitate that you drain the remaining gear lube and measure the volume. If the final drive is not spotting oil on the side of the tire or the floor, the only other place it could go would be to migrate upstream past the pinion seal into the drive shaft. I always clean up the oil spots on my garage floor so as to keep track of which bike is dribbling from which place.
