Key question

Shoud the same key fit both the fork lock and the seat lock on a /5? Thanks.

I believe so...it does on my /7.

It should, but does not necessarily mean it will. Looking at the age of the bike, lots have had their ignition switch replaced over the years. Also, lots of people seldom if ever use the fork lock and they end up either seizing up or get plugged up with grit, grime, etc. And some just broke.

If the fork lock will not work, there is a way to fix them. It requires some gentle work to remove the little cover and then removal of the mechanism. I know that someone has a pictorial on a web page somewhere, just can't remember where. If I find it, I will post it. Unless someone out there is better organized than I am and has it handy.
