The one-time use crimp clamps BMW uses on the TB to rubber mount connection are called Oetiker Clamps - http://www.oetiker.com/content.asp?l=4&idNavig=1
They are used for both clearance purposes (to clear the cable-sector on the TB shaft) and to limit the force applied on the TB's to prevent distortion of them.
Luckily - the tool to install new ones is fairly inexpensive since this sort of clamp is used on lots of car assemblies - such as CV joint boots. Two possible sources:

You'll also find these tools for sale on Ebay with a bit of searching, or at your local professional auto-parts store (like NAPA) where mechanics shop.
BTW - new clamps can be ordered from your friendly local dealer..

Thank you
Brian
If you are good friends with the dealer, and buying your parts from them they might let you borrow there tool for a couple of hours. Thats what I did when I replaced these items on my old K100.
