I have an R1100RTP. I have decided to get a Russell Day Long seat made but don't want to be without my 'Hilda' while the new seat is being made. So, I am looking for a replacement, cheap, to use during the build time. Looking at the drawings at Max BMW, I see that the part numbers for the 1100rt and 1150rt bench seats are the same. (Model: R1100RT-Diagram #52_1044 p/n 71607654460- comfort seat, black front and Model: R1150RT-Diagram #52_1044 p/n 71607654460-comfort seat, black front). So, the question is, will the RT bench front seat work the RTP? If so, then a seat made for the R1150RT should fit the 1100RTP. Am I on the right track or should I be restricting the search to R1100RTP only?
