Trickle charging

Can a trickle charger be safely connected through one of the accessory plugs on the left side of the bike? :dunno

That is the standard procedure for all of the chargers that come with the optional BMW/John Deer/Euro plug. Just be sure you have the charger that works with your battery. Lots of other posts around here dealing with batteries/chargers, etc. If you do a search you will get lots of opinions.

When my K75RT is not on the road, it is always plugged into a trickle charger in which I added a male accessory plug I bought at the BMW dealership. Be sure it
is a battery maintainer which has a maximim output of around 1 to 1 1/2 amps.
