For those of you who don't watch Speed Channel, this week's "Corbin's Ride On" -- which follows Two-Wheel Tuesday -- had a lead story on the Spokane Rally....with interviews with riders, MOA Prez Hawkie, lotsa video, and a standup by their host/reporter Brian Jackson seemingly amazed that people camp out at these events...
Very positive story, and mentioned Lima in 05, and put up the BMWMOA website on screen.
Differed greatly from their usual fare on "Ride On", which is self-congraulatory stories on how the latest speedshop/aftermarket parts supplier/chopper shop is the best in the country.
I'm firing off a letter to the show thanking them for their positive coverage. It's listed as episode # CRO9012...since they do repeat episodes.

"Ride On" has surprised me several times. For a cruiser content show, they've had a lot of stories I found interesting. IIRC, they had a bit on the BMW party in Reno/Lake Tahoe last year and an excellent bit on the ACE cafe, on Triumph night a few weeks ago.
In a lot of ways I prefer it to TWT. I just can't stand the incessant "speed metal" under all the dialogue. Who's idea was THAT?
