Hi, All,
A friend has a couple of gearboxes. He wants to know if they are K75 or K100. Is there a way to tell from, say, a number in the housing or something like that, if it is a K75 or a K100 gearbox? Does anyone know how to tell a K75 gearbox from a K100 gearbox?

Try looking at the parts fiche on Max's website to see what the differences are. Thta would at least give you the correct part numbers which may provide more info.

I think they are the same.

I think they are the same. Some are different colors - but basically - they're the same gearbox. Interchangeable - but make certain you have the correct clutch pushrod for the correct bike model (that part isn't interchangeable.)
