I have a friend who is considering starting to ride. She lives in LA and wants to find a place where she can get good basic instruction.

In Colorado I'd take her to ABATE but it seems in CA they don't seem to be doing training.

Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted.

Have you tried a MSF course in your area??

I'm in Colorado. She's in LA. I'll give her that link.

I was hopeful that someone who teaches in the area or knows someone who teaches might have a suggestion. I should have been more clear about it.

Each state contracts to run the courses differently. Sometimes it is an ABATE or Goldwing group, and that might be in addition to the state program, or there may be no state program. Nearly every state that offers training uses the MSF program.
