Rear Main seal

After having pulled the transmission on my 97 r1100rt to have it resealed and bearings. Should I replace the motor rear main seal? I'm there but there is no signs of leakage.

Prudence would say, "yes". Better to replace it now, while you've got the thing apart.

This is like changing the water pump on your car when you change the timing belt.

You're in there anyway - may as well do it. Besides, if you didn't change it, a week later you would probably need to. Murphy's Law.
