I initially posted this in the Airheads forum, but realize this might be a better place.

I had a friend in Germany send me these. He said they came off his 1984 R100 TIC (Touring Integral Cockpit), which I understand was usually a Police version.

The bags are fiberglass. Have keys and the mounting hardware. They look like the older Craven bags, but I cannot find any markings on them at all. They are much narrower than ordinary bags, so that would also seem to support the police bag theory.

Does anyone know anything about them? Who made them? They are 16" tall, 14" wide, and 7 " deep.

Would love to find out all I could about them because he'd like me to sell them for him.

Thanks in advance.

Those are Craven bags. Made in England and imported by Dave Quinn. (203) 393-2651.

Craven yes. and the BMW symbol (I believe) was a transplant. I think that because that's what I did. Mine are on a 1973 /5. Watch those lids! Use something to secure it enough not to fly off at speed. Go ahead.... ask me how I know:cry -Bob

Thanks Jeff, I've searched your site before but did not find the link to the original catalog. From that it would appear that these are the "County" bags they produced for police.

Now I just need to clean them up and get them on the market.
