Fork swap from a r1150rt to r1100rt?

This question is for a friend of mine who's wondering if the forks from a 2003 R1150RT will fit his 1999 R1100RT. Any information is appreciated.

The forks themselves shouldn't be a problem, however be prepared to changed the calipers, discs and wheel since they were most likely changed to mount Tokico parts and the 1100 had Brembo's. I was planning on doing the same, I have the calipers and wheel for an RS1150 change over , still need disc's .
