Heya all.. Well after my post on if the 1156A Silver Star lamps would work on my 03' K1200 GT I ordered them. They arrived and as I procceded to put them in I noticed the bayonet pins to be wrong. Ha .. Ha...Having not changed the bulbs before I just "Asssumed".. (ya'll know what that means)..lol.. Well they didn't fit for the pins are positioned wrong. Scratching the old noggin, I thought back on my childhood when I had a car and filed the one pin off to make it accept the socket. Filing off one of the bayonet pins let the socket accept the bulb. The way the bulb is held did not cause it to be loose or short the circuit. They work right fine. Now I have what they call the European Look for turn signals. no more amber inside my clear lenes. They give off a blue tint when not lit and almost look like they are glowing. The rear do have a somewhat amber tint mixed with the blue but not bad. Just thought ya'll might like my info for what it's worth.. I really do get alot of good info here and thanks to all who belong.. :usa:german
