Did a hydraulic fluids change on my '01 R11S yesterday. Got some air into the clutch system, as well as the front brake.
2 easy fixes brought pressure up really well, and just thought i'd share them with the multitude.
For the brakes, once the air bubbles were out, i just leaned bike on sidestand and set bars so that the m/c was as high as possible. Strapped the lever tight to the grip (as tight as i could pull it, but it did not reach the throttle). a few hours later, and i had very strong brake pressure. Test ride confirmed- brakes are suitably tight!
For the clutch, someone on Pelican suggested removing the check valve at the bleed fitting and replacing it with a Speedbleeder or similar. For that, my clutch had so little pressure that i could not successfully shift gears while on the shop stand, so getting something to work was imperative. Pulled the check valve assy out - it's in there with red loctitie, so you'll need some heat (or 2 tons of muscle) to remove it- and then replaced it with a Speedbleeder (same as you use on the front brakes for that bike). By doing just that, i had increased pressure. And with just a bit of bleeding on the clutch with a Mity-Vac, i am back up to very strong pressure!

worked for me, thought i'd share for the next one wondering.
