Thank you very much for the advice. I replaced the filter and I still have the same problem. I guess I get to buy another fuel pump- I was hoping not to have to do that , of course.Do you know what re-wiring that I have to do with a beemer boneyard fuel pump?
The bike blows the original 5 amp fuse but it runs fine with a 7.5 amp fuse.
Anyway, I guess that is the way it goes.I am getting ready to retire after nearly 30 years as a low paid state fisheries tech. so I would like the bike to be able to take me to new places and not just the BMW dealer. If I can change the filter I guess I can change the pump out also. Thanks for the advice- if I ever see you on the road hit me up for a cool one .:beer
