Anyone have any ideas that might help out? 99 1100sa, 83k,idle jumped to 1600-1800rpm,when throttle is blipped, motor almost stalls, but keeps running, but somewhat rough.I get the bike rolling and it'll accelerate to 4k(70mph),but maintain a rough run condition.Seems to smooth out about4500 rpm.Really frustrating is that idle is now back down to 1000/1100rpm after sitting a while.Brief run around the block confirms rough run condition remains.Ant ideas?Thank you

that's the first thing I thought also, but both the rubber plugs are intact from the canisterectomy. All looks good down stream of injectors....

Check that the throttle cables are both properly seated on the throttle bodies, and that there isn't a small stone or something wedged in one of the pulleys under the cable.

Sounds like you may have multiple problems
Idle speed changes fropm 1900 to 1000
Is the start lever stuck?
What controls the idle? The tension on the throttle cable, follow up on what Anton wrote, possibly a bind in the cable that is causing it to hang up. may need to remove the cables and check them in the sleeves. When was the last time the cables were lubed. Could also be a pulley that is binding and keeping the cable stretched.
Running rough and almost stalls
Fuel filter?
Throttlebodies synced?
Plug wires?
