Well today after even more diagnostic work,BMW durham found the trouble with my 85 K100RT.It turned out to be the fuel presure regulator.I thank all of you who had input into this and rest assured I took all your advise to the dealer as I was at my wits end.The one upside to all this is that now the mechanic and I are on a first name basis.His boss is another story but he's accually a good guy.So thank-you all for the help...:dance Jamie
