Searched the forum but could not find a comparison between these two on the R100s.
MRA makes a R100s windshield which is 2-3 inches taller and Laminar lip also makes an add on for the s.
Does anyone have any experience with the Laminar lip on a s fairing? or anyone on the MRA s windshield?
Parabellum also makes a windshield but as with the other two I can only find 1 photo of the examples, the parabellum looks a little odd in the photo.
Thanks

I have an MRA screen on my Vstrom. It does the job for me.

I also had a VStrom 1000 (04 model)
I installed the Windstrom windshield with the optional spoiler.
Absolute magic, no noise and no buffet.
Rode from Calgary to Los Angeles and back with my full face visor up the whole way.
Google windstrom, they only make shields for the Vstrom and BMW

I have the Parabellum windshield on mine and I have the higher stock bars from an R100/7. With his windshield I can sit up and still get protected. I should have gotten one size taller though to reduce wind noise. You can check with them as to sizing and they have a very good exchange policy.

The lip moves the air up and over at speed, and in your face when riding slower. A lot of this is like comparing seats because the geometry is different for everybody. It's like an oil thread. Ya gotta try it for yourself.

Do you have a photo of the parabellum you can post?
I have not been able to find any online pics from different angles.
Thanks
Here are 2 shots of the Parabellum shield. It doesn't come with the edging. I only added that for the effect to see the actual size.
I always have trouble with pictures. Here is the second one.

one more piece of plastic inserted btw the screen and the front edge of the dash, right where the vent is, works wonders for pushing the envelope up further. See also:Venturi effect. Look at what aeroflo does with their KLT screen. Sold the bike some years back so i don't have pix, but a BMW System helmet faceshield is about the right size. Use that 3m dual lock stuff so it sits about 1/4" away from the inside of the screen and covers the vent at the bottom. It's like putting a laminar lip on the inside to focus and speed the wind flow up the inside of the screen.
i think they got the idea from me:nyah

Thanks for the photos 6659
It looks like you get pretty good protection.
Is that the 16" 18" or the 20"?
Are you able to ride visor up on your full face helmet?
Any head buffetting?
How is it for the pillion?
Lot of questions
I am 5'9 1/2" and parabellum recommends the 18" for my height.
Unsure if I will change out the bars or not.
thanks again
