The other night BMWRTGIRL and I went and saw 'Faster' - a documentary about MotoGP. Has anyone seen it? Whatja think??

Looks like fun, hopefully the film will make the 'big screen' here in Vegas. (Our 'indie', non-Hollywood scene here sucks). The DVD will most definitely get added to the collection.

Me too, unforutunately it ain't playin', NOWHERE. I could see it not coming to my culture-deprived burg, but I've checked in Nashville and Miami and it's nowhere. Probably 'cause it came out in 2002?
I'll just keep my eyes glued to my Whitehorse press mailer. I'm sure it'll turn up there eventually. Then, I can combine shipping and get GrandPrix and LeMans on DVD as well.
Me, I'm way too much of a Moto-Lit junky. I can see your point about the ~$7 shipping (rip-off) but given the fact that I spend~$100/month on books/video/sales brochures, it's kind of a moot point for me.

BG was this some sort of special occaision/screening you're hip to? Or was it just a normal theatrical release?
I would LOVE to see it on the big screen with DTS or Lucas Sound, but one way or the other, I'll have to own the DVD.

No, it's not a special release, it is making its way around the country and will be in *Las Vegas* the week of October 10th.

See the 'Faster website' link in my first post above, then scroll down to 'News' and just below the second paragraph on that page is a link to the slamdance.com site where they have a list of where it is playing all over the country.

I hope that you can see it! The footage is amazing!

Watched it last night on a friend's 60 incher. Probably not the same as in a movie theater... but doin' the pause and the review made up for it. Great DVD to have in the collection. Got it parked next to On Any Sunday 1&2. Don't miss it.

FASTER will be screened for one night on 10/22 at the Algonquin Arts Theater in Manasquan NJ. To my knowledge, it'll be the only "big screen" showing in the NYC/Phila area.

Several NJ Shore BMW Riders will be attending, then going for great pizza afterwards. Join us.
