Short of attacking with a Sawzall, is there a nice clean way to remove the bottom fairing on a K100RT so that you'd be left with a bike that resembled the look of a K75S?

Like this?
Remove the radiator cover (4 screws). Remove the glove boxes and there a 3 screws each side. Remove knee guards and there are 2 bolts each side. I did not brace my upper fairing, but someone on the forum did with 1/2" conduit bent to fit.
I removed mine for a cooler ride in the summer. No luck, it pulled the air up to my upper body. I eventually sold the bike. If I did not care for the lowers, I would have trimmed the sides of the upper fairing. I did like the look.

RS fairing lowers? With the clippy-do attachement points might be a direct fit?
