There was a short item on the business news about how in these economic times more and more people are using coupons. But they are not only using them but abusing them by somehow smudging the bar-codes so that the expiration dates are not recognized or making illegal copies of them.
Anyway, they used the example of Purina who sent out 250 coupons for $5.00 off a big bag of their dog food. So far, there have been 5,257 redemptions of these coupons. So far!
