Saturday, June 13, four of us met up in Lander, WY, wound up through numerous scenic byways in Idaho through Hell's Canyon but then discovered Rattlesnake Pass, Oregon. This made previous trips through the Dragon appear tame! Canadian run up through Creston, Kootenay Lake, Revelstoke, Lake Victoria, Cranbrook was experienced mostly in rain with low ceilings but the clouds parted as we came back in to Montana. Buddy without his passport was told by U.S. Customs "If the Canadians let you in, we'll let you back into U.S." Tourism is DOWN, friends, so the mom and pop motels were crying for our business. Cache Le Poudre River Valley run west of Ft. Collins, CO was awesome, but U.S. 36 through CO/KS/MO was sunny and high 90's. 'Destination Highways B.C. guide and map' were very helpful so I put them on EBay in case anyone needs the set.
