since i bought my RT1100 it has went through 4 sets of rear pads 15,000 miles. I changed the cylinder and even pulled the abs relay but the cylinder is burning hot and the brake is dragging ever so slightly. I am thinking about doing away with the abs system. any Ideas would be welcomed.:dunno

Make sure you clean and lube the pins that hold the pads. I had a similar problem with my RS and it turned out that the pins had some corrosion and wouldn't allow the pads to return completly after applying the rear brake. Pull the pins, clean them up with some light sandpaper or wire brush, then lube them lightly with some neversieze. Make sure it's lightly, as you don't want any of this stuff getting on the brake pads.

I agree with Rssssss: there's something wrong with the caliper, either with its sliding pins or even the piston seals: the problem is preventing the pads from withdrawing when hydraulic pressure is released.
There's nothing in the ABS plumbing or machinery that would cause this problem. Indeed, if the ABS were actuating, then it'd be releasing brake pressure, not increasing it and causing the pads to drag.
