So there! I have elevated my status by pre-registering for the BMWMOA Nat'l and all the honors and accouterments thereof. Woe to all those who have not pre-registered, for they may feel the cursed-ness of bad roads and blistering heat and mechanical problems (Or not).
And no getting physical with the patrons in the Registration Tent!

Yes, I'm also one of those that preregistered. (it must be a Wisconsin thing).
More time to shop the vendors and go to seminars.:thumb
And I don't have to worry about the call out-"Newbie" anymore, as this is my 3rd MOA in a row.

If it gets to 10, I'll buy 2 packages of hot dogs and buns to feed all 10 of us at the rally. Gosh, I wish more people would go. Dythink anybody will?
:ha
For more reasons than one many think I should be committed, but that's another story. I have been avoiding rally threads this year because I won't be able to go. HAVE FUN!

You will be missed. :wave
IIRC you can carry on a good conversation with yourself once beer is added. :stick

I have been working feverishly on getting this old airhead ready for the trip to the rally. A few final touches and off I go.
I look forward to this rally. It is my summer break from teaching and getting our Nauticat motorsailer ready for retirement.
I hope I have good health, fair winds and a long retirement!

I've got a couple wooden Nickels (if I can find them) I was given at the Chicken Rally. I'm also pre-regestered for the Daniel Boone Rally in mid August. This is also a good one. Its held at the KOA Campground in Boone, N.C. with 300 to 400 folks attending. :thumb:thumb:thumb

Instead of hot dogs, I decided to ensure that there will be food vendors there.
Oddly enough, this may be the first Nat'l I have been to where there may actually be a line if one eats at the standard meal times.
(The above is a bald faced lie, common sense would tell you there will always be a line at the standard meal times. Next time, I'll tell a hairy faced lie)
