A friend of my teenage daughter rides motocross. Yesterday, my daughter and I had the chance to go watch her friend race. I have to say, I was most impressed with the five year olds! One mother said her daughter had started when she was four years old!

I don't know any 4-5 year olds who even ride a bicycle without training wheels, let alone a (miniature) motorcycle.

Go buy a PW50 when your kid is two. Make sure the dealer does not prep it. (No Fluids)

Park it in their bedroom.

By the time they are 4 it is not scary, it is furniture.

One day their furniture makes noise and goes! How fun! (still not scary)

Install training wheels for 6 months.

Start going to Lorretta Lynn's.

Wow, what a cool idea. My child would probably love to do that!

We had a junior trials at our vintage rally a couple of weeks ago. It was a highlight of the rally.

Gotta love those kids. All the rally pics are here (http://frelsi.smugmug.com/photos/swfpopup.mg?AlbumID=8647873&AlbumKey=R8oKx). It is a vintage rally as opposed to a BMW one, so lots of strange bikes.

Hopefully I'll have my son on one soon. He's 4 now and loves to ride his bicycle, on the back of the GS and in the sidecar attached to the R60.:thumb
