Jeremy Clarkson promised the Stig would be revealed in the first show. Is this real, a publicity stunt or Top Gear gag?

i doubt it, the filming schedule would take up too much of his time.

No it wasn't Schumacher in the past, It was a professional, but I forgot his name. This season it might be, or it is a publicity grab.

Black Stig was Perry McCarty who was outed in 2002.

I believe Ben Collins has been the White Stig for the past several years. Clues to his identity began coming out a year or two ago when his voice was unintentionally recorded by a media type who was taking a lap as a passenger in a car driven by the Stig and then a photographer took a photo of the Stig with his visor down where you could still see Collins distinctive deep-set eyes and big bushy eye brows. There have been all kinds of other circumstantial connections between Collins and the Top Gear production and back in January he was apparently working on a special Stig poster with a UK firm who was apparently told by Collins that he was the Stig under the premise that a confidentiality agreement was in place.

Could Schumacher have also been a Stig? Who knows. Doesn't seem like something he'd either want or need to do, but then again....
