Curious if anyone has info regarding the BMW MOA member who was injured while working in the Beer Tent this year. I worked the first Wednesday afternoon and didn't notice anyone getting hurt during that time. Must have been serious though.
Please advise.

Thanks a lot for blowing my COVER !
Can't imagine how one of us had a life-altering accident during the Rally and there's not more info floating around. As an old timer I miss a lot of what's happening around me ... so this may be just more of the same.
Then again, maybe I spent TOO much time in the Beer Tent.

Hi Prowler, The Beer Garden had no problems. I was there 9 AM to close daily. On my walks to the vender area, I had radio contact with the Beer Garden thru my co-chairs and head bartender. The Beer Garden went smooth.

3 Cheers for the BEER TEAM! Great job in Spokane! Now for 05... For the Lima rally we'll be in the territory of some really great beers. I hope that the beer team will have some of the good local (regional) stuff on tap.

Beer Team,
Oooooooooooooops!
Thanks for the confirmation. I argued that the serious injury was probably a result of the storm we experienced in West Virginia in 2003. When the Beer Tent took off flying last year there were some injuries. My source was so certain of his facts the injury occurred this year that I [B]CAVED without much protest.
Sorry for wasting ink (digits) with this post. But as you know, your replies are always appreciated. This is the source of all "solid" information.

I would think if anyone go hurt, it would be drinking a
truck load of beer :D

Hey, the rally is in OH, NOT PA. Plenty of great micro brews, far too many to list here.

As explained by Cliff Clavin, of “Cheers.”
One afternoon at Cheers, Cliff was explaining the Buffalo Theory to his buddy Norm. Here's how it went:
"Well, ya see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine! That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."
