I am interested in putting foot pegs on a K1200GT. If anyone has done this or knows of an after market solution I would love to hear from you. I would like to put foot pegs on the bike that would enable placement of my legs forward along the bottom of the faring.
Thanks,
Barry

I've only seen the kits which lower the pegs, not forward at all. If you sit on the bike, and put your feet where you think you want them, is the fairing in the way? One guy was asking about forwards, and no one seemed to think it would work with the fairing as it is so wide. PLUS then if this is the only place the pegs will be, the controls (shifter and rear brake) would also have the be moved.
Here is a lowering kit:

Those kits are expensive. I got a couple of peg lowerers from my BMW Dealer (Suburban machinery was the manufacturer, maybe?) and they cost less than half what Pirate's Lair wants for verholens for the '06-08 K1200GT.

Actually, here's the URL to the location where I got mine--it has pictures...

Suburban machinery, I believe, makes 'em, and maybe they're purchasable also from their web site, though I got mine when I found 'em from A & S Cycles.

I have the Verholen. They work well but are probably overpriced.
