Hi, I just brought my R90 out from a long winter's nap. Ok, so really I am lazy and did not want to change the pushrod seals, so I have been using the 1150.

Today I replaced the push rod seals. Afterwards the bike started right up and ran like a charm. I changed the oil and was thinking it was time for a ride, but I had a problem. The headlight and tailight work, but there is no horn, no signals, no brake lights and generator light is staying on. I am not getting a click from the signal light unit, but if I turn on the signals, the generator and neutral light slowly increase and decreas in intensity. Sounds like a ground to me so I have cleaned everything I can think of with no luck! Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks!

John

Check your 8 amp fuses in the headlamp bucket. Clean the fuse ends to shiny, lube with dielectric grease, replace. Test.

Just happened to my R100/7 on a trip and it was the fuse blown in the headlamp bucket. Simple:). Randy

Bill was right, thanks! The fuses were good but needed a cleaning at the contact point. I cleaned them up, greased the contacts and reinstalled. Now everything is working again!
