/5 final assembly threaded ring

Somebody help me! I've been trying to screw the threaded ring into the final assembly (where drive shaft and final assemble connect) all day. The threads are fine. I can't figure it out. It will screw a couple of turns and feel fine and then it will seize. Driving me crazy. Thanks.

Something about the Final Drive?

I can't figure out what threaded ring would be there.
