I've been thinking about starting a MC detailing business from home. I wanted to get your opinion on how much you would pay and what you would expect. (Please don't post if your response is "I always do my own" or something to that end). I need some extra money and I am trying to find a way to earn it.
Your help is appreciated.

Look up some local auto detailing places and give them a call. See if one of them will let you hang around to get some techniques and advice.

Practice on friend's bikes to see just what you CAN expect to do and can't. Around here a car detail can run around $200 - $300. If you think you could do it for $100 a bike and hit up not only the hightlights but the nitty gritty (cleaning out between the engine fins for instance) you might be on to something.

Would you take an RT for example and remove the fairing pieces to expose the engine and clean it?

I have a 1959 R60 and would gladly pay $100 or more for the engline to be detailed if we were talking "between the fins" and all.
