It was 70 years ago when men were men :jose and BMW took 1st and 2nd place at the Tourist Trophy.

51 years ago women and BMW's were just as gorgeous as they are now.

This is Anka-Eve Goodman on her R69S. Photos indicate she rode an R50 at Nurburgring in 1958. I've gleaned only a little info about her from photo blogs. Apparently she helped to form Womens International Motorcycle Association.
