Longest ride since my crash. 250 miles a so. Went to Mindoro for the first time. Then explored from Stoddard to wildcat then to Hustler. Tried to do alphabet roads as much as possible.
Interceptor is gassed and ready.

downtown Chaseburg... a Wisconsin ghost town. All of the businesses were damaged by last summer's floods never to reopen.

The bank is now in a trailer on high ground outside town. What a beautiful building. It has real marble and granite counters and floors. It's a shame it'll never be used again.

The sign on the old barn says "seventh heaven". With a vista like this I couldn't agree more.

This lovely scene is from Hwy 14/61 coming in from the east side of Coon Valley. Note the Catholic church nestled behind the dairy farm.

There were 3 frantic Messages on my phone from my wife when I gassed up at Wildcat Mountain. There was a forest fire across the way from my house heading toward my house. Evacuate the pets. Thankfully the firefighters got it under control when it was within 100 ft of jumping the road. The fire was stopped right by the red tanker truck. My driveway is the one behind the speed sign. Whew!
