This is really a preliminary ride report. While most everyone else is in TN for the BMWMOA rally I'll be riding the Western mountains.

I'm leaving July 1 for Ramah, CO where my sister lives then heading North. Next stop will be the Grand Tetons in WY then on to Yellowstone. Following Yellowstone I'm continuing North into Montana up to Whitefish then through Glacier National Park. Leaving Glacier I'll be heading into Canada then back East around the Great Lakes down to Montreal then back into the states and South to RI the VA.

Right now it looks like about 6,200 miles in about 16 days of riding. I have multiple video cameras mounted on the bike and will be filming the rides through the parks. Twenty-six days and counting.

I did a similar route to Nova Scotia, from CA., two years ago, crossing Canada from Glacier Park....Very good indeed. Happy Trails to ya. I took the TransCanada Hwy., most of the way across and found it really good. Stop in Regina,Saskatchawan and see where "Mounties" are born(RCMP). I found it really cool, for a half day visit:)....Randy:thumb :usa

I was hoping to hear from someone who has made the ride. I was planning on stopping in Regina, didn't know the Mounties are there. Montana, Alaska and Hawaii are the only states I haven't ridden so this trip will leave only two.

Thanks again

One of the problems I'm having is locating place to stay overnight in Canada. Can you offer some suggestions?
