My turn signal switch on my 1986 R80 failed on a recent trip. I dismantled the left handlebar switch cluster, and found that I had broken one of the switch travel stops. The stops that limit the travel of the turn signal switch are molded(?) from a single piece of Bakelite. The stop cannot be glued with any reliability. I can desolder the switch and replace it myself, if I can find where to buy a replacement. It is probably a 30 cent switch that could be replaced in a $95 assembly! Has anyone replaced JUST the turn signal switch, and where can I get one? Thanks in advance.
