You could use Harley type spotlights. (1938-61 style)
Also try an LED array for either a Tombstone or the style used through 1955-72 (again Harley) the array should fit in a /2 tail light. (they also use 6V arrays on some street rods, Vetch or was it Bob's lists them for /2 but were out of stock last year.)

Might also try an halogen H-4 upgrade if you can get a lens/reflector to fit stock shell.

The early style spots can still be found (reproduction) in 6V.
The LED arrays can also be found in 6V.
The H-4 halogen bulbs cost $25 in 6V (same bulb in 12V is only $8)

I have the spot lites and 6V H-4 on my 49 Panhead. The spots were a great help with stock sealed beam, but became useless after I installed Bosch halogen reflector and a 6V H-4. (this works as good as a 12V H-4, the 6V H-4 throws more light than stock headlight and spot lights even on low beam)

I can get the spot lights for $36 each in 12V and 6V bulbs are $6. (cannot order with 6V bulb)
I cannot remember where I saw the 6V led arrays or the price. (they were for universal use and may have been a Harley, or Hot Rod supply)

Keep in mind the limits of the generator.

35 W headlamp
2 W parking lamp
2 W Neutral indicator
1 W speedo indicator
5 W tail lamp
5 W license plate lamp

That's 50 of your available 60 watts. Step on the brake and you are pulling more than the generator can supply; the extra comes from your battery.

Unless you are planning on going to one of the 12V upgrades there's not much you can do save trying the halogen headlamp. Or you can paint your bike white. :deal I think my bike is brighter than my headlamp. Doesn't help at night, though. :doh
