I will be working near Schenectady in a couple of weeks and I want to ride through the Adirondack Park when I have a Sunday off. I called a shop in that town and they couldn't think of anyone who rents bikes near there. Can anyone provide some contact info of a place that rents beemers or ANY brand in that area?

Have you checked out EagleRiders.com, also lots of HD dealers have rental programs?

Thanks BradfordBenn, I'll go over to the eagle riders site nopw and see what they have to offer. The shop I called is a hardley dealer but couldn't help.
I'm wanting a bike because when I was working out in N.Carolina this spring I took a spin on the Blue ridge Parkway...in a Buick Century. Scrubbing the tires in a buick just doesn't compare to even having to ride slow on a hardley.

I'm a pretty good googler and it appears many of the motorcycle shops in that area have gone out of business. I guess a motorcycle rental business where you can only rent for 6 months out of the year can't be all that profitable.
I did find this interesting link:
http://www.broadwaychoppers.com
Perhaps he can help you.

I'm starting to understand the EagleRider vs. EagleRiders thing... one is a forgien club and the other rents bikes but not in New York.
Thanks for the chopper link...but they don't do any rentals either. Looks like this just might be a pipe dream.
Keep em comming...
