I just purchased a Corbin Dual Touring Saddle for a 1994 K75T w/ the large clear plastic windshield. I converted the bike from a low to a standard with what I believe is the correct factory hardware
Here's my question the seat fits very well at the front, middle and towards the rear. But at the rear there is approximately a half inch gap between the rear seat and the slanted fiberglass tail section.
It looks like the seat will settle to some extent with a passenger on board, the gap could be filled w/ a piece of trimmed black foam or the seat could be returned to Corbin for alterations.
I've adjusted the seat w/ the available play in the brackets. Did I miss something? Is this normal for this seat? Are the tail sections on the K bikes different?
Any pearls of wisdom would be appreciated.
P/S the standard height and the Corbin seat make a world of difference in the comfort level of the bike.
