Given the abundant supply of salvage bikes, I've found a few salvage houses that will provide all the components necessary for a cruise on a K12GT for $250! Has anyone ever retrofitted a cruise, or even replaced the entire system? Given the cost of the components a couple of years ago, it only made sense to go aftermarket. But $250? Like me, you're probably thinking "yeah, what's missing?", but I've now called 4 different places and they're all within $50 of each other. Any help and opinions here would be appreciated. Thanks.

If like on my LT you should double check to make sure your existing wiring harness has all of the necessary connections. I have never totally removed my cruise but can think of at least six or seven electrical connections required.

On, off, resume Switch for cruise control itself
Clutch micro switch
Front brake micro switch
Rear brake micro switch
Cruise module itself (require vacuum also?)
Throttle rail switch

Good luck
