I bought the Centech AP-1 fuse box for my 1999LT. I know many of you have them for extra accessories but I'm at a slight loss as where to mount the box. I'd like to put it under the seat but also I need to keep it away from the battery when it comes time to charge it/replace it. Any pictures would be greatly appreciated. -K-

Where will the accessories be located? If you put it under the seat each accessory run needs to go (probably) to the front or back of the bike.

I would locate the panel close to where the accessories go. If we are talking stuff like GPS, detector, lights, etc. then I would locate the panel up front with a single master fused 12g run of wire to the panel and short runs of wire to the accessories. You should be able to find all kinds of space that you can still reach to change fuses up front someplace.

While i'm not using a Centech (I went with a fuse panel from an 85 Honda Sabre) I put my fuse box in the tool box of my K75 which is under the seat. I did this because I wanted to put it close to all the relays. My new relays are in the same location that the stocks ones are; under the rear of the fuel tank.

I bolted an auto parts $13 fuse block to the relay box just rear of the stock fuse block. Pull the side cover. find one fuse you found them all. I don't know if a centeck will fit there.
