Does anyone know a good route coming from Rt 81 and cutting over to Wilmington, NC

Where on 81 were you going to try and cut over? If you're coming from the north then I'd say go east on 64 to Richmond and then south on 95. If you're coming from the south I'm not familiar with enough with that part of 81 to help you.
