Any recommendation on a /5 battery brand that last longer than 1 -2 years?

Hello:

I use the Odyssey Sealed batteries in all I own. They are powerful, no leaks and last a long, long time.

Do a Yahoo or Google search for Odyssey, and then, search and buy from the cheapest, or that's what I done. Been on the Odysseys a long time, would buy no other.

Almost any decent battery will last more than two years if you take care of it.

I'd either buy an Interstate and keep it on a Battery Tender when not riding or buy an Odyssey 680 and ignore it for five or six years. There are no other worthwhile choices that I know about.

Odyssey gel cell. Great battery. Got mine from Riderwarehouse, the Aerostich people.

Don't buy a $29 battery from WalMart. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.

I keep my batteries on Battery Tenders when not in use - religiously.

I get 8+ years out of flooded batteries, routinely. Replace them after 8 years just because, although they're usually still in pretty good shape at that point.

Just started using Odysseys and like 'em a lot. On this routine, they should last more than a decade.

Ordered the battery from batterymart.com
I got it in 2 days (free shipping) even came with the little cooper adapters.
They must have a lot of trust in their product: The shipping box had the size of the battery without any protection , no foam or bubble plastic !
Only the top of the battery was orange but the sides are black. I like it. The bike started strong.

Thanks for advice ....I will keep it on the battery tender.
