K1100RS trailer hitch

Has anyone ever installed a trailer hitch to a K11RS? I would like to hear from you.

Here is a link. I have a one on my K100LT which I plan on removing and mounting on the K1100LT when I finally get enough time off to go and pick it up.

So far I have contacted:
Dauntless
Classic Industries (Australia)
Bushtec

And looked at the Uni-go website.

No one it seems makes a hitch. Twice I was told that the K11LT would not work. The reason per Bushtec was the RS has more suspension travel.

Guess I need to examine an K11LT hitch to see what modifications if any could be made to make it work.

Is it true that the RS has more travel than the LT?

I have a hitch on my K100LT whicb I plan on removing to install on K1100LT when it arrives. I can take some dimensions and get some pictures.

I won't know about the fit-up to the K1100LT until I install it in a a couple of weeks.
