Instrument lights R100RT

I am replacing some of the instrument lights on my RT. I recalled someone mentioning that they had replaced the bulbs with LED's. I thought I had kept a copy of that post but apparently did not.

Does anyone know the information on a LED replacement for the bulbs?

I replaced the stock bulbs last year. There are multiple LEDS in each bulb, not just one and they work great.. WOW, what a differnce. I cannot for the life of me remember the site I ordered them from. But I called Bobs bmw in Md and got ahold of a parts associate and told him of my dim lights and he gave me the web site and the part number of the bulbs needed. They are very helpful at Bobs and I am sure they could help you.

I replaced mine. Go to autolumination.com. Not cheap but big difference.
Caution: Be careful when removing large rubber plug from back of pod. Mine self destructed and required a new wiring harness. $330. Aluminum male plugs into s/s receptacles. Use dielectric grease.
