Have you checked your crankcase breather?

They all do that.:laugh
Your breather hose goes to your airbox.
Check under your airfilter and you will see where the oil mist will go into the intake.

Uhmm... Not quite.
Whether it's something to worry about depends un how much oil is going into the breather and through the carb.
If I was concerned about that, I'd clean up the intake tubes and then start keeping a close eye on how much oil is passing through. It's also a good check to take a 100 mile ride and then pull the needle jet too see if oil has accumulated in there.
If you see any excess oil, do a leak-down test to check the ring seal.

Oil is laying in intake valve area about 1/2 teaspoon. Didn't check breather only about 23,000 on bike runs great doesn't use inordinate amount of oil. I keep it on the mark and I know how to check it, not much volume that's why I keep it up. I know that it's coming from the breather, just wondering if it's normal. Since I'm using syn. oil I didn't think I'd have a problem with the breather, but I can check it. Anyone else want to weigh in on this? Thanks , The Bear :thumb
P.S. If it's ok doesn't bother me it'll lube top end:brad

Well....
If you are keeping the oil level at the "Full" mark, youre going to blow oil out of the breather.
Stop adding oil but keep an eye on oil useage. At some point, the engine is going to stop "using oil" and the level will stabalize. Once you know where that spot is, just fill to that point. Anything more is just going to be wasted.
Don't worry, this is Airhead-101 stuff.

These bikes generally like to run in the middle of the range of oil level.
If I fill mine to the top mark it WILL blow some oil until the level comes down somewhat, and then it is fine. Stop topping off your oil and you'll probably be fine!

I knew a guy with a Camaro, and he never once changed or checked the oil because the engine "knows that oil" already. It would only "damage it if [he] replaced the oil."
