This topic has come up repeatedly. I stumbled into the tag for the alternate bars. It is Flanders # 650-02093. These are lower, more forward, and a bit wider than the stock RT bars. The do have to "stuff in" a bit; rocked forward too far the levers hit the shield on the forward hand; rocked too far back they hit the side of the fairing on the back hand. Still, I find these a whole lot more comfortable, and precise feeling, than the stock bars.
The wideness gives a little more leverage for off pavement, crosswinds, and such. Although I have not done so, there might be additional positioning possibilities if one were to experiment and cut some off each end.
