Lester 14mm to 17mm adaptation redux

So i'm adapting a 17mm axle Lester wheel to a 14 mm axle on my '74 R90/6,ordered /5 adapter from Bobs per advice from a person in this forum,works just fine. However theres a flange on one side of this adapter,which side does it go in on,I have it on the right hand side and the brakes are dragging badly[I have L/H single disc}Any input? Wait a minute I guess I'll just try it on the L/H side and see how that works . Thanks Red1974

Duh........Well the flange side of the insert adapter goes on the R/H side of the hub, it's there of course to stor the 14mm axle from pulling through when you tighten everything. So I learn the hard way as always. Red1974
