ABS/Speedo Question

One of my friends has a 2000 GS and his ABS and Speedo don't work. Any experience out there with this problem?

i have a 2001 F650GS the problem i have is that the speedo and trip meter work fine but my odomiter records the miles i drive but when i restart the bike it doesn't record all the mile that i had driven
any one else have this problem or have any ideal what the cause is

I had a the problem with the trip meter on my F 650CS. I had a blown fuse.
