I just replaced the under-tank master cylinder with a handlebar unit on my r90/6, and Ted Porter's was able to make me a custom line. I'd give them a call.

+1 for the Speigler units. Did my wife's 1980 R45 and it made a huge difference, even with just the single Ate disk. Did all the lines on my 1981 R100RT a few years ago and they all fit perfectly and very noticably increased braking performance. Have used them on lots of bikes I have setup for friends and customers. They ship quickly and pricing is always competitive. Way cheaper than the stock OEM rubber hoses. One of the easiest upgrades to any bikes braking system.

No kidding. BMW wants $95.15 and Spiegler wants $59.95 for my R75/6.
Although one must wonder why they list a rear one for my bike..
..and I've read that the Spiegler cables don't play into the corrosion/whipping/cracking problems that you read about happening to other SS lines.

Are you talking ss brake lines (for hydraulic fluid) or ss braided cables?
As discussed here (http://bmwmotorcycletech.info/brakes.htm), and elsewhere.
