Mike,
Thanks for making yourself available to those coming to the rally. Can you tell me anything about the Fairfiled Inn. Is it near the rally site; what is around the Inn to do and where to eat etc. Your input is appreciated.

Is there any exact dates for the rally next year ? Just wondered if it will be around the same time mid-ohio is going on . Mid-Ohio is always the 3rd weekend of July.

The dates for the 2005 National Rally are July 21 - 24.
When I called Mid-Ohio last week, they still had not picked the dates for Vintage Days / Superbike Races.
I am hoping we are snugged in between these events. Lima is merely 80 miles from Mid-Ohio.

Thanks Sue for your response. I don't know how my posted subject got on this site but it got here thats all that matters. My friend races the vintage days and I have never missed a race yet !!!!!!! So I am keeping my fingers crossed that this will miss the bike race.

My guess is there will be a conflict since Vintage days and Superbike weekend are back to back weekends.
Kevin, it is not all that far, commute from MOA to the races.

The Fairfield is just fine, near the major shopping/eating places, and a short 8-10 minute ride to the fairgrounds.
There are a variety of restaurants right near the Fairfield, including Burgundys, a nice non-chain choice.

Byker, Avrom:
There are several hotels close to the rally sight. The Fairfeild Inn is not one of them. It is acorss town not far about 8 miles but there are better locations.
I would suggest the Lima Holiday Inn . It is one of the closest to the fair grounds. The phone number is 419 222 0004. I would make your reservation quickly. Their rooms will go quick. If you need further help advise. You can call me a 419 303 0505. If I am out leave a message and I will return the call.
You will love Ohio, some neat ride as you come in and it will be a great time. Hope to see you next July.

If you call the Lima Holiday Inn Ask for "The Front Desk"
If you ask for "Reservations" they will send you to an out of state reservations center that knows nothing about BMWMOA.
