Im looking at buying an 02 GS adv and have been trying to locate the specs but haven't really come up with what I was hoping to find so I figure the best place would be here! I'd like a thorough spec list including electrical sys, fuel consumption & perhaps accessories and options incuded! Thanks!!;)

Gasoline ratings.
See:

Scroll down to measurement methods section. Very informative.

Ok...now that my head is sufficiently spinning, does a RON91 mean that it can use a lower octane fuel?? (which would only seem to make sense because this bike is made to ride ANYwhere!)

This is one of those subjects many will argue about 'till the cows come home..!
Many will claim that 87 is sufficent, others state 91+ is what the manual calls for and then others will split the difference and buy the mid grades.
Me,...for the few pennies difference,I'll use what the manufacture states the bike was designed for with excellant results.

Right...nobody knows for sure! LoL
Ok...so, what I've really been needing to know is about the charging system...does the 02 GSA have a higher output than the airheads Im used to? Im planning to install driving lights and would like to know if I need to find something with lower power consumption (HID) or if I can just use halogens and forgetaboutit!

Charging system: 14 V, 50 Amp Alternator (700 watts)
Probably power two airheads with the 1150 alternator :whistle
